My Laptop (2nd Post)

Got a new laptop for my christmas. Asus A42J. Waited a month for it to come all the way from Taiwan.
Specs : Intel Core i7
            2GB VRAM - ATI Mobility Radeion [HD 5730]
            4GB RAM
            640GB HDD.

One of the cheapest and most advanced and yet poweful laptop i ever have. Was so happy when i got it, playing numerous high-end game such as Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010, Medal Of Honor, Call of Duty (Modern Warfare 2 and Black ops), F1 2010. The graphics for each game was so realistic. Thanks to the performance i7 have provided, the gameplay was extremely smooth, putting a smile and envy to every person whom catch a glimpse of anyone playing these games.

Let me tell you about some of the specification.

Intel Core i7 - is a 2nd Generation processor. It delivers best in class performance for the most demanding applications. This quad-core processor features 8-way multitasking capability and addition L3 cache. With adaptive performance and built in visual capabilities this 2nd generation processor brings more intelligence to your PC. This processor also features the Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.o and the Intel Hyper Threading Technology, enabling required security applications and protocols to run efficiently in the background without compromising productivit.

As today's more visually sophisticated communication needs will be met with Intel HD Graphics 2000 Technology, intergrated into 2nd generation Intel Core processors. This will elimiates the need for a dicrete graphics card, reducing power consumption and system cost.

Supporting the Intel Core i7 is the superb graphic card that is powered either by ATI or NVEDIA depending on the individuals.

ATI Radeon [HD 5730] - mobile performance class graphic card for laptops with native DirectX 11 support.                    Despite the name, the HD chips does not stem from the desktop HD 5700 serise but is just a faster Mobility Radeon HD 5650 with 400 shader cores. Compared to the mobility HD 5750, the HD 5730 has no GDDR5 support, but a higher core speed.

The HD 5730 offers Avivo HD for HD video acceleration, 8-channel HD audio output over HDMI 1.3.
